Awards are subject to change per event and at the discretion of event management.
Can I make division changes?
You can make changes to your registration until 5:00PM on the day of the final registration deadline (Friday prior to the event).
Log into your smoothcomp.com account to make any necessary changes.
If the final registration deadline passes and you do not like where you are bracketed, you can cancel your registration before 12 PM on the Friday prior to the event and receive a credit for a future event.
Where can I find competitor information?
You can access a full list of competitors by selecting the event you are interested in and clicking on the “Registrations” tab.
This is a real-time list that updates automatically as competitors register.
What is the refund/voucher policy?
Military members with orders to go overseas are entitled to a full refund if they can provide a copy of their orders.
No refunds will be given at any time for any reason.
You can receive a credit/voucher for a future event for any reason until 5:00PM on the Friday before the event by logging into your smoothcomp.com account and canceling your registration.
You do not need to contact the office to receive or use your credit/voucher.
Vouchers are valid at any of our events nationwide.
Vouchers will not be issued after the event for any reason.
Are there any discounts available?
WOMEN’S DISCOUNT: A $10.00 discount will be automatically applied to female competitors (18 & older) that are competing in the Women’s Gi and/or NoGi division.
FAMILY COMPETITOR DISCOUNTS: Please email our office at contact@newbreedgear.com for a discount code. You may be asked to provide proof of relationships.
Please include your first and last name, the number of people you are registering and their first and last names. This will expedite the process of receiving your discount code.
Only valid for immediate family members (brothers, sisters, parents, children and spouses).
Teammates, cousins, coaches and students do not qualify for the family discount packages.
How do weigh-ins work?
Weigh-ins will take place on Saturday only.
Weigh-ins for youth begin at 8:00AM.
Weigh-ins for adults begin at 10:00AM.
Adult competitors must weigh in 60 minutes prior to their division. If you are late for weigh-ins, you will be disqualified and no voucher or refund will be given.
You do not have to weigh in with your Gi on.
You only have to weigh in once, even if participating in multiple divisions.
We have a 1 pound allowance policy.
Competitors 12 years of age and older that do not make weight will be disqualified and no refund or voucher will be given.
Competitors 11 years of age and under, we will do our best to accommodate and move into a new bracket. This is not guaranteed. If there are no available matches, we will provide a voucher for future use but no refunds will be given.
What is the early registration policy?
Ends 20 days before event date.
$95.00 registration fee, 1 or 2 divisions.
FREE event tee with registration.
$15.00 spectator fee.
What is the late registration policy?
5PM deadline on the Friday prior to the event.
$150.00 registration fee, 1 or 2 divisions.
